Lovely B&B and great value.Colin - TripAdvisor, September 2016
I stayed here whilst walking part of the South Downs Way and it was just what the doctor ordered after a days walking. Diana is a lovely hostess with two adorable cats I was shown to a lovely room and had sole use of the bathroom . I was made to feel right at home by Diana, the room was spotless, the bed comfy and a lovely breakfast was had the next morning. The packed lunch she provided was tasty and filling and kept me going whilst on my next day's walk....
A LOVELY B AND B.Catherine - Tripadvisor, May 2016
Stayed here for 3 night whilst walking on the South Downs. We had the twin room with large bathroom opposite. The room also had its own shower and hand basin Tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and hot chocolate. The room was warm and the beds were comfy. Plenty of choice for breakfast Fresh fruit, yogHurts and a choice of cooked breakfasts with vegetarian options available too. Tea, coffee or hot chocolate to drink with plenty of toast with honey, marmite, marmalade and Diana's delicious home made jam. Diana made us very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.
Immaculate, comfortable and great value.Siubhan R - TripAdvisor, August 2015
I booked a double room at the very last minute and was delighted with the friendly reception at Uppingham. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet and with tea, coffee and biscuits provided. If all B&B's were as good as this one, I would use them all the time! I'd happily recommend Uppingham to by friends & family.
Excellent.Carol S - Tripadvisor, May 2015
I was visiting family in Steyning and wanted a convenient place to stay for the night. I was delighted with my choice which was excellent value for money. The room was very clean and well equipped with shower and wash basin. The breakfast was the best I have had - far superior to all the chain hotels I normally stay...
